Close the laptop lid and measure the longest side, this is the WIDTH of the laptop.

Measure the distance of the second longest side from the front to the back. This is the DEPTH of the laptop.

The HEIGHT is the distance from the base to the top of the laptop.

Once you have this information you can check it against the manufacturer or shops product spec. Typically it will appear as follows...

Fits laptops (WxHxD): 42cm x 28cm x 4cm

This is the maximum laptop size that can be accomodated by the bag.

Measuring your screen siz\e

Some products are advertised based on the laptops screen size e.g.

Fits laptops with screen up to 15"

The screen size is the distance from the bottom left to the top right of the laptop screen or its diagnol measurement. This is always referenced in inches.
